How should we judge the expert answers?
Last updated

Reward specificity, transparent uncertainty and decision usefulness—not confidence or presentation polish.
| Assessment | What earns it |
|---|---|
| Strong | Defines the target outcome, supplies inspectable evidence, states limitations and identifies a practical decision. |
| Useful but incomplete | Offers a plausible method or relevant example, but lacks access to the evidence needed for stronger conclusions. |
| Weak | Repeats generic optimisation advice without connecting it to the buyer’s problem. |
| Unusable | Guarantees inclusion, confuses citations with revenue, conceals collection methods or presents unverified claims as established facts. |
For interview preparation, SparkToro’s published Office Hours discussion offers a useful recorded treatment of the measurement debate. Its session took place on 11 March 2026, with the transcript published on 7 May 2026; these are different dates and should not be conflated when attributing it. (sparktoro.com)
