What should we refuse to buy on the evidence available?

Do not approve a special-schema project merely because it is presented as compulsory for Google AI visibility. Google’s current optimisation guide says structured data is not required for generative-AI search and that no special schema.org markup is necessary. It also warns against suppliers claiming access to internal Google ranking or AI systems. (developers.google.com)

Useful implementation still needs a diagnosed problem, a defined deliverable and an owner.
