How should you complete and score it?
Last updated

Choose one answer per question. Award A = 0, B = 1, C = 2 or D = 3 points, then add the 15 scores.
- Choose the highest answer you can support with evidence today. Where D builds on C, both must be true.
- If your position falls between answers, choose the lower score.
- Treat “unknown”, unsupported assurances and future plans as 0, unless another answer accurately describes the evidence you already have.
- A spreadsheet and saved answers can qualify. Owning software earns no points by itself.
- For in-house delivery, assess your internal work order and controls rather than a supplier contract.
- Record an evidence location beside each answer. Do not upload confidential customer material merely to complete this quiz.
What do mention, citation and recommendation mean here?
Use these working definitions throughout the assessment. They are separate measures, not interchangeable components of an unexplained visibility score.
| Measure | Working definition for this quiz | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Brand mention | The answer names your company or product, including a negative or neutral reference. | That the assistant considers you suitable. |
| Owned-site citation | The answer links to a page on your website as a source. Record third-party sources separately. | That your product is recommended or that anyone clicked. |
| Explicit recommendation | The answer presents your company or product as a suitable option for the stated buying requirements. | That the user shortlisted, contacted or purchased from you. |
For example, “Company A does not meet this requirement” is a mention, not a positive recommendation. A review-site citation is not an owned-site citation merely because the page discusses your product.
